algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Open brep problem

Hey guys Im trying to place a grid inside an irregular geometry but when I try to make the untrimmed surfaces, instead it gives me an open brep, with this I can´t use the map to surface component so my problem is that I NEED to create an untrimmed surface instead of an open brep, could someone help me??

 

I attach the files and a quick screenshot so you can see what I mean

Hi Jorge, what I think you want is achieved by flattening the hexgrid curves output, and setting the boundingbox U to true (one unified box). Did I understand you correctly?

With the changes you mentioned the grid appears on a surface, but the surface is not exactly the one I have
