offset direction error

hi!

I found earlier discussions about the bug with the offset component

has this already been fixed? I'm having a similar issue as above. I used SrfSplit to divide up a larger surfaces, then am trying to offset the edge curves. sometimes they offset inside, sometimes outside.

I'm just wondering if this is that same issue with the component or something else that I am doing incorrectly.

So I found that "offset loose" offsets the closed curves in a consistent direction.

Offset Loose uses my own offset algorithm, Offset uses the Rhino SDK algorithm. It's very difficult to use the SDK function and get consistent and correct results. In fact it's proving to be so difficult I'd like to write my own instead. This is not easy though.
