Have you looked at 'Text Tag' or 'Text Tag3D' in the Vector>Point drop down menu?

Chris

Let me come with another problem.

how can i change the colours of those labels? ("POINT LIST" icon is more useful for me)

It looks only green or red. Then they re not distinct from back ground.

I know my questions sounds ridiculous but i am just new with rhino and grasshopper. And I have to do these labeling job for thousands of sub-assemblies.

please help

thnx

The only way I know is to use Giulio's TxtLines component you can download it from here:

http://www.giuliopiacentino.com/grasshopper-tools/

This is written in a C# legacy component which will no doubt be un-supported in the near future of GH, but it definitely works in its present form in GHv0.8.0013.

THNX A LOT. I SOLVED MY PROBLEM WITH TEXT TAG THEN I BAKE AND THEY TURNS INTO ANNOTATE DOT. THIS WAS WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. BUT NOW I HAVE NEW PROBLEM?

MODEL IS COMPOSED OF THOUSAND OF ASSEMBLIES. AND I NEED TO TAG SOME PARTS. EACH SINGLE PART NAME IS DEFINED BY A UNIQUE LAYER NAME.

HOW CAN I ESTABLISH A RELATION SHIP WITH LAYER NAME AND ANY TEXT IN GRASSHOPPER. I DONT WANT TO DO IT MANUALLY.

THNX

THANKS. I M FINE. HOW ARE YOU THEN?
You also can just change red`n`green scheme to whatever you want :-)
