Is it possible with vector colors in GH to fade the color on a single surface? For example the darkest spot in the middle of the surface and becoming lighter as it moves outward toward the edges? Or must this be done with multiple surfaces?

Theunis,
I know you can get a fade by applying color to mesh vertices. I'm not sure about surfaces.
This is really old, but it's a GH definition for an example from the Rhinoscript101 primer. The explaination there is good for understanding what types of geometry can hold color information.

Points can be colored in GH, but otherwise for a continuous looking gradient I think mesh is the only option.
