Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi I'm new here. I don't know what this pattern is called. From the diagram I can see that a block is contoured. How are the vertical divisions added to create this pattern? Thanks

Thanks! But how do I add the random vertical supports in grasshopper?

they aren't random in the photo, are you sure that's what you want?

Sorry not random! Like a variable perforation

Hello here is a solution it uses offset of curve to put perforation at a certain distance of contour. There is also a shift in perforations in order for them to be staggered.

And always give source of images. It is always interesting to know the author of the work you want to copy.

Thanks a million :D

There is an error !! I will post another example.

ok thanks! I haven't tried it yet. The screenshots look promising ^^;

Update with correction !

Thank you so much!! I will try to learn from your code. And yes really clean fabrication and great use of computational tools by Anna Dobek + Mateusz Wojcicki
