algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

Please see screenshot below. It shows baked GH parametric model in RHINO viewport. The idea is to export model from RHINO as a .dwg file and then import into structural software for FE analysis. Therefore, the .dwg would only act as a reference model to trace over in structural software.

The Rhino viewport shows the model surface as tiled, is there a way of telling Rhino to export only the edge or perimeter lines of model? rather than the smaller tiled blocks. I know the long way would be to individually delete the tiled lines but trying to find an efficient way or a setting in the software which i can change.

Everytime I bake from GH the surface of the model in Rhino appears as tiles. I am not sure why its doing this.

Hope someone can help.

Thanks in advance.

They look more like isocurves than "tiles" to me?  In GH, you could use 'Deconstruct Brep' and bake only the edges without the surfaces, but I doubt that's necessary.

Hi Joseph,

I use the 'deconstruct brep' and used the 'list item' in 'graft' mode and the bake result gave me the following. This is exactly what i was trying to achieve. Thanks for your help.
