thank you devang, 

apparently it is something in my version or laptop 

as it has to be done twice and it works smoothly the second time 

do you know how to add the surrounding buildings to the lighting analysis ??

these lighting results indicates that it's a stand alone model. how to add urban context shadowing effect to the lighting simulation ?

Sure Anas,

You can add context as Brep and/ or surfaces similar to how we prepare a HBZone. Then that can simply be supplied to _HBObjects input and that will be accounted in your annual daylight simulation.

now what i'm doing is running different iteration by animating one slider 

the problem is "read annual results component" needs to ran twice for each simulation run 

each time i do it the component gives me a fatal error and creates the lighting schedules as if there is no lighting analysis input to it and when rerun"read annual results component" again i have the lighting analysis integrated as needed from the beginning  

ANY IDEAS why this could be happening

i highlighted it this time. but as i mention inside this is a sample number of iterations 

the actual number is in the bigger slider

Anas,

I have attached a custom timer. Supply a list of variables that you want to simulate through and set the appropriate timer time. Hope this helps.

Devang, 

thank you very much for this but as i told you it's not a time issue 

i have made the Booleans triggering the component depending in each other as you can see in the photos attached

now run energy component does not run unless the lighting schedules is embedded in the HBZones and the same for READ annual results component can not run unless the lighting analysis is finished 

it does not work from the first time. i have to run each simulation twice

 av ery quick update apparerntly it works from the first time if only it's a one floor case 

once you add more floors to it it gets this glitch 

i don't know but the thing about the difference between the number of zones might have something to do with it

I would like to help you. But I am not able to run your file. It's too big my pc config. If you could simplify things a bit, perhaps I would be able to look into it.
