Dear Sir:

May I join the group of the Parametric Architecture with Grasshopper, since I am working, interested, and used Rhino 5 and Grasshopper as tools on Engineering and Architecture fields. I would like to be a member of Grasshopper too. I am the reader of your book and also a lot of Grasshopper's books reader. Thanks.

http://www.lynda.com/Grasshopper-tutorials/Up-Running-Grasshopper/1...

LYNDA.COM made an interactive video tutorial for grasshopper basic users. The point is it was made mostly throughout copying the procedure of this book (Parametric Architecture with Grasshopper) and didn`t put much efforts on it.

ERRATA: the parabola expression shown at 5.3 is wrong. You need to add a "-" at the beginning. The right expression is:

y= -(1/10)*x^2+x+1

Beg your pardon :)

Hi Dieter,

sorry for my late reply. The following picture explains how to get the "data matching" using Grasshopper 0.9. You can find the "Cross Ref" and "Short" components inside SETS > LIST.
