algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello community,
I am having trouble solving adjacent zones - and I am wondering what I am doing wrong - external walls are defined as internal walls, roofs as ceiling and vice-versa. As this works perfectly when everything is straight and overlapping - how do you deal with over hangs ?
Any hints and suggestions appreciated - I have added the file down below for who feels helpful.

Solve Adjacencies does not deal with partial adjacencies. In other words, you need to have matching surfaces across adjacencies as I explain in this video:

We have the 'intersect masses' component to help you get matching surfaces automatically. We don't automatically include this intersecting operation in the 'solve adjacencies' component because it is really computationally intensive and we don't want everyone to have to run it if they have prepared their geometry correctly with matching surfaces.

Just curious what is the best practice for adding windows in a situation such as Stefina has. I've played around and created my own re-work of her model. Is this best practice? Maybe better to talk in person next week!

The breps in your attached GH file are being passed through the HBZones component twice (there's a HBZones component inside the cluster). This is causing the simulation to fail. If you build a model from scratch that illustrates the case that you are trying to model, I can tell you if there is a faster way to build it.

Hi Chris,
The simulation works fine for me, actually I worked out how to do it using the glazing parameters list (See approach 2).
Is this the best way of going about the problem?
