Request: Settings for Sound Effects + More Sound Effects

I wish there was a panel in "grasshopper settings" that has some options to control "Sound Effects".

Every time i input a value to a slider by keyboard, an error sound effect plays,

I do'nt understand what is the point of hearing this sound.

On the other hand, i think grasshopper needs more sound effects, for example when you connect a wire to the incorrect input, or when the computation of definition ends.

Thanks

...more sound effects...

Indeed. I take the liberty to propose some proper stuff:

There's no audio code at all in Grasshopper, that sound effect must be made by Windows somehow. Perhaps changing the sound settings in the Windows Control Panel will help?

As for more sound effects, would be cool and even useful under certain conditions. We'll see whether our new cross platform UI kit will offer some options there or if it needs to be implemented from scratch using OS specific apis.

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Hi Mahdiyar,
a while back I created a gha to play sounds. It doesn't listen for any events, but you'll have to trigger it through your definition somehow.
It contains components to play a beep, a wave file and one that plays some informative audioclips (from a popular tv-series).
Do mind: it was just an exersize: it's all very basic, mp3 format is not supported. Also: the beep will interrupt the calculation grasshopper is doing at the time. Anyway, I recompiled it to appear in the 'Extra' tab. Still, I hope it is of some use to you.
