Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi Everyone,

Any idea to populate spheres or rectangles to achieve the effect below?

Thanks,

I haven't worked on anything like this before but I think if you can cut sections through a mass(Human body form), create lines on each section, define points on those lines and create sphere/boxes on each point, you will get the same outcome.

Thanks Mohanned, great idea.

Hi.

This definition is Mesh version. you can apply same logic to Brep geometry.

You can choose sphere or box mode.

Hi Hyungsoo,

How have you created the original mesh? ..

Hi Ibrahim.

I've found it ages ago by Google search.

Her name is "stanford bunny"

Hi Hyungsoo,

The problem is solved by your definition. Thank you.

Or just create a 3d matrix of spheres bigger than the mesh. Add the mesh and automatically delete the spheres lying outside the mesh.

You can also cut the spheres in the boundaries of the mesh, so the final geometry will be better shaped!

It is smart even no need for grasshopper. Thanks.

I really like it, can it be done with a custom geometry input? or and perhaps and attractor effect?
