Hi Denisse,

can you post the files we need to duplicate this?

Is the surface a valid object?

Are you trying to load a surface that's part of a polysurface? Grasshopper doesn't actually allow you to do that.

same problem here. the srf component "WallSrf" failed to load (1. Surface with ID {7f90c5ab-1931-4c5b-8d40-4d0ceda9f64c} failed to load). please see attached files

Thanks,

Hanan

Hi Andrew,

What options do I have if I want to refer to an extruded "surface" or a polysurface as a surface in Grasshopper?

Surfaces only allow for a single face. Within Grasshopper those faces may have trimmed regions (in Rhino, surfaces don't even support trims). If you want to import polysurfaces, then you need to use the Brep parameter.
