algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Simple waffle script not working

Hi,
I have been asked to try to reproduce the Art615 pavilion as a precedent for a digital class I am currently taking.

I have created the form in Rhino, and applied a simple waffle script which I have previously used successfully. However it won't work on this form. Does anyone know what the reason for this could be? I have attached the files for reference.

I'm quite new to grasshopper, and am also not totally sure about the best way to apply the scales to the form. I was thinking perhaps using the perp frames tool. Would this be a possible first step?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I looks like the design is a custom grillage configuration as there doesn't seem to be a pattern.
