The short answer is yes, it does! I can'r reproduce the issue on my system. Can you upload your file?

Mostapha

Agreed.  If you send the file, I should be able to fix it.  There's also a chance that I might have already fixed it in the newest version of the components.  For some reason, I feel like I have fixed this one a couple of times already.

Hi, thank you for your response. Here is the gh file. The vision of honeybee in my computer is 0.0 58.

Hi Han,

I fixed the issue and it should now work for your donut cases.  You can see this in the attached file.

Hi Chris,

Thanks a lot and sorry for my late response.

The problem has been solved. Sometimes when I run the E+ energy simulation, the E+ run component will be red, but there is also simulation results. Is it OK?

Thank you for your help again.

Yunsong HAN

We need to know what is the message when the component turns red. In 99% of the cases it is not fine and the results can be wrong.

Yunsong,

Glad that everything seems to be working OK with the donut geometry.

If the E+ component is turning red, there's a good chance that the simulation results are from an older successful simulation that you ran and not the one that you were trying to run.  In any case the E+ component should not be turning red and, if you upload the file where this is happening, I can take a look at it.

Thank you for your response. The attachment is the gh file.

Thanks a lot.

Hi YunSong,

Your files is running fine on my system. Can you send us the output of readMe in case you have it crashed again on your system?

Also I think you may want to subdivide your zones to smaller zone if you want to see the effect of orientation.

Mostapha

Hi Mostapha,

Sorry for my late reply. When I run the simulation, my computer often showed "out of memory". I doubt the problem is because the RAM of my computer is too small (only 2G). When it crashed again, I will record the output and send it to you.

Besides, I found when I input a box with three layers, the splitbuildingmass component only generate a two layers box. What seems to be the trouble? The attachment is the file. Thank you for your help.

Hi Yunsong, Thank you for explanation. Except you are creating huge models 2GB should be fine. Let us know if it happened again and we will try to find a solution together.

Back to the new file it Looks like a tolerance issue. I tested the case with a more recent version and it works fine. Attached!
