beginner user issue HoneyBee goes GH ultra-paranoid mode

Hi everyone,

Firstly thank you to Mostapha for your App/Works. I'm trying to learn LHHB and it's use by GH, i'm a beginner user so maybe it was my fault, when i run 000_GettingStarted_With_Honeybee.gh file i've this issue:

it's seems because of EmbryoViz issue (but i can't understand). Perhaps it will be my "goofy error", however i hope someone will help me. Thank you.

This sounds like a permission issue. Do you have full control on the folder? and which version of Windows are you using. Sorry for all the headaches that you have been through.

Hi Mostapha,

I believe it is still open, but can't tell for sure. I asked Luciano (Jack?) to upload the directory contents where all the stuff is done but he didn't so far. I can't reproduce his error, so i wanted to see that all files arr fine. Can't think what else to suggest before seeing that.

Hi Abraham and Mostapha, i have still the same issue unfortunately. At this moment i'm not at home, i'll attach my gh file again as soon as i come back home. Thank you for your interest very much.

I'm using Win7 Professional x64, i suppose to have all permissions as admin, however in which way i will able to edit/check them? (just to be safe). Thanks again for your support.

Hi Luciano. Check this file: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/group/ladybug/forum/attachment/downloa...

It should tell you if you have full access to C drive and C:\Ladybug

Hi Luciano, so you have full access. This case is so tricky. Let me think more about this and see if I can come up with a better way to test it on your system.

I am facing the same issue, and after the run the test, i don't have full access "F_Ok" on the c: drive

I am using windows 7: and C: drive is NTFS

any ideas why this is happening?

Hi Hassan,

In the new version it shouldn't make any problem. Ladybug creates and alternative folder and you should be able to run everything fine. Do you have any problem running Ladybug or Honeybee?
