David, thanks for replying.

Now I understand, I believe there are lots of good stuffs to try out, at least less words than before.

All my old rhp file created by the old version are working find in the new GH, but if I write new VB scripts with new GH, I need to use the new data type.

When will the new SDK, or Rhinocommon, be released?
Hi Jinge,

You can also write old vb.net scripts if you use the legacy vb.net component
But t would be fror sure better to change now, but be also aware that not all is currently implemented in the rhinocommon
Rhino 5 already work with rhinocommon. For online resource you can use http://www.rhino3d.com/5/rhinocommon/ as an sdk database.

Thanks a lot!
Toj, that's really helpful. I didn't notice there is a legacy vb component. The link is great!

Also I have to say that it works in other files, but in this file after "wetgrid" (vb script.. not mine) it works sometimes.. . I tried to rebuild curves, to bake it.. etc, but it doesn't help..
Hi, David,

Knowing that there is an VB.net legacy component, I decide to use the new GH for my Rhino 5. (I was trying that on Rhino 4). But I get this fault when I install GH from the plugin manager. Can you have a look at the fault code and give some suggestions?

Thanks.

David, I figured it out. Thanks.

I need to update my Rhino 5, oh, it's really changing fast. If anybody has the same problem, just update everything to the latest version.
I have a problem with sphere component, it fails to when I connect multiple branches to radius value.
I try with circle component and it works. maybe is it a bug?
See attached file.

It looks like the sphere component isn't accepting 0 values. If you replace the zeros with 0.001 or add 0.001 to every value it works.
Are you trying to create a black hole?
Maybe your sphere is not reaching the Tolman–Oppenheimer–Volkoff limit.
ah ah ah, you're right!!!
But maybe it could be a new GH features!
the black hole component

Thanks guys

May be this is a better place to post this issue!

Seems like if a line/curve is intersected with it self, it produces imaginary intersection points...
