I made an offset from a mesh with Rhinos offset mesh solid.

Is there anyone there know how can i round the offset edges?

I hope anyone can help me with this problem.

Check out weaverbird.

yes thats not what i want. Wb changes the mash and smooth all edges so that i loose the precision.

I want only round the outlines which make the offset to a solid! Is there a way to handle this.

In this post there's an example of using the Isosurface component of the Millipede plugin to offset a mesh, if you offset it outwards it will create rounded corners. It's definitely not the best way of doing this, but it works.

Attached is my version of what I think the definition in the other thread is doing.

mhm i can't tried because my license from millipede is gone. Is their a way without wb or millipede?

The millipede plugin (afaik) is free. They haven't updated it in some time and now you get a popup saying that the version has expired, but it should still work after clicking OK.

Why can't you use Weaverbird? If you are in a computer lab where you can't install stuff you can download a zipped version of the plugin. Then you can just drag the .gha file to the GH canvas to load the plugin.
