You can leave the slider with the default values (0 to 1) and then use the "Remap Numbers" component. The slider value will correspond to a normalized parameter of the variable domain.

It means that you have a connection already open on that port, could be from another open gh definition, could be sth else. Try changing the port number. We have a new version coming soon!
