If the curve can be redrawn accurately as a interpolated curve, you could use the Curve On Surface (CrvSrf) component.

Map curve to surface precision

Hi Guys,I am trying to use the map curve to surface component as I would use the UV unwrap and remap command inside Rhino. Pretty much I am trying to map a curve pattern to a surface in GH. Everything worked well. I had to rebuilt the curves with mor controlpints to make the maped curve stick closer to the surface. My question is how i cant get it to be more precise. If I unwrap the surface in rhino and then map the resulting curves back onto the surface in GH the created curve are not on the…See More

There's a new Contours Component that might help with hatching. And you might be able to play around with the Project Component to get some results for making 2D

Wish for Hatch and Make2d Component

Hi David,I am on of the people who are using Grasshopper as a modeling extension and also as a great tool to get any kind of information like Lenght/Size/Area/Amount out of a 3d Model. I know this is only using a fraction of what GH can do but it works well for me.I was wondering if it would be possible to add a hatch and a make2d component. In this way we can make our own 2d Sections and Elevations, that will update and are pretty much ready to print. Maybe you could even think about a…See More

Variable Paneling on surface

Hi Guys,I was hoping that somebody could provide me with a GHX that will panel a solid over a surface via boxmorph and lets me make a uneven panelisation. Maybe the size of the panels could be infulenced by distance to points . . .I remember that there used to be a page that had a lot of sample files, is that still somewhere?Thank you OliverSee More

Grasshopper Galleries - RSS Feed question

Hi everyone,I wanted to bookmark the RSS feed of the Galleries, so that I don't have to log in all the time to see the post of the members, but when I do so, the pictures don't show up, just the names. Pls try for yourself. Is that a NING setting?David, it would be nice to change that, if possible, so we can RSS the galleries. I think it would be nice to be able to RSS some Galleries to some other creative sites, so more people outside the Grasshopper community will see what people are creating…See More
