### Galapagos excentricity/gfa calculator

Just to show off/share some work.As part of a highrise project our student group developed a optimization system using galapagos. The script uses multi criteria analysis which calculates the weight of each volume based on floor area. It then uses this weight data to position the volumes which are partly controlled by the architect and calculate the moment on the core (F*A).It also calculates the GFA and attempts to reach the optimum  between these two.The object of this system is to postion…See More

### Best practice for undulating floor (metaball or continuous loft)

I'm currently working on creating a continous floor from multiple curves if they come to close they will unify into a single floor surface. I also want to use this floor to create walls from the edges by curving them either up or down. So far i have tried to use a lofted surface which expands and meets up with the other lofted surface. The problem with these is that the lofted surface dont create a clean unified surface. Another option that i have tried is to use metaballs onto the curves…See More

I need some suggestions how to proceed. Can this be modeled in grasshopper?  The problemI want to make a series of connecting lines from a datagrid. I need to be able to give a start point from where it will look for the highest value(within the datagrid) within the reach of that point and connect the line Then again starting from the end point of that line to another point ....etc....etc....  The problem is that i want to be able to change the number of points which it connects also the script…See More
