diagrid tower angle control

All, I'm trying to generate a diagrid tower with grasshopper, but control the angle of the 'crosses' and the amount of lines on the surface. With a simple cylinder i could use a spiral to generate these crosses, but if the surface is non regular this is becomming very hard. just to provide an image, this is what it should look like, but with controlling the angle and not a cylinder... Hope anyone understand what i'm looking for and knows the answer or has pointers in the right…See More

Trouble with surface split giving strange outcome

All, I have some trouble with the surface Split function. Somehow it does not do what i thought it should do.In my model i have Four vertical lines, which i divide in set pieces. Here i connect the points on the same 'number' again. This fluent lines i then divide and close with polylines (this so in the total model the shape can be more or less fluent). These lines I then loft to have a closed volume. If I now want to cut the bottom halve of this, it results in very strange leftovers. See…See More

trouble with section cuts and planar surfaces

Dear all,  I found myself in some trouble with grasshopper, hope someone came across the same and knows how to solve it. I've created a model in consisting of three lines, divided in equal parts and then connected via curves. Eventually loft the curves to get a closed Brep. (see attached pictures)Now I want to make section cuts (along an orthogonal axes) but since these sections sometimes cut the earlier created curves the created sections are 3 Dimensional instead of planar. this leaves me…See More
