"Hi Simon, in version 1.2.2. it is not possible to adjust the coordinate system of shells and thus the direction in which the shell cross section forces are output. This will be a feature of Karamba 1.3.0. Best, Clemens"

Conversion from principal stress/force to global coordinates

Hi all,I am trying to get the stresses of a shell in the global directions (e.g. X and Z) instead of the principal stresses. Is there a way to get that with Karamba? I've noticed a "Principal States Transformations" component but I do not know how it works. Moreover, it only acts on vectors, and I would like to get the sign of the stress/force, similarly to the "Shell Forces" component.Thank you in advance for your help!SimonSee More

Mesh loads: point load generation and meshing issues

Hi all!I am working on a structure composed entirely by shells; therefore I mostly use the mesh load component to generate equivalent point loads, and I have some questions about it.In the model, I am applying the same load on all floor.
