### Surface Normal Comparison

Hello everyoneIm trying to compare normal vectors at each of the surfaces on all sides of the cube. Currently i've got it to identify the same normals relative to each face. What I'm trying to do is…Continue

### Branch Structure Question Using Plane Curve Intersection1 Reply

I've got two curves {15} and {16} that I want to find the point of intersection with pairs of planes  ex. {15;0} N=2, {15;1} N=2, {15;3} N=2...etc and {16;0} N=2,{16;1} N=2, {16;2} N=2...etc Im…Continue

### Multi Domain Multi List Inclusion Check2 Replies

I have a multi list branch whose items I would like to check for inclusion against a list of domains. The current plan is to just break the two branches apart and operate on the seperately but I was…Continue

Not understanding what I'm doing wrong. I've got surfaces sorted into branches by their face (North, East, South, West)Within each face branch I would like to group the surfaces by level which I've…Continue

### Surface Normal Comparison

Hello everyoneIm trying to compare normal vectors at each of the surfaces on all sides of the cube. Currently i've got it to identify the same normals relative to each face. What I'm trying to do is compare them relative to a single plane so that top left of the diamond are identified as the same, top right same, etc. See More

"Hey Chuck Thanks for the DL this worked for me!! Playing around with it I've tried to create something similar to what you show in the gif on your website Andrew. So far it looks like its sending to illustrator the curves stacked in a top…"

### Branch Structure Question Using Plane Curve Intersection

I've got two curves {15} and {16} that I want to find the point of intersection with pairs of planes  ex. {15;0} N=2, {15;1} N=2, {15;3} N=2...etc and {16;0} N=2,{16;1} N=2, {16;2} N=2...etc Im hoping to keep the {15} {16} branch structure because its keeping the organization by floor level.Any insight into how the Curve Plane Intersection is matching the branches for operation would be helpful as well. Thanks!See More

"Hi Tom, Thanks for the reply. I don't think that solves my issue. I'm not sure I'm explaining it all that well though. The values being checked by the domains are separated into two branches. This is because they were initially…"

### Multi Domain Multi List Inclusion Check

I have a multi list branch whose items I would like to check for inclusion against a list of domains. The current plan is to just break the two branches apart and operate on the seperately but I was hoping it could be done.A small explanation on how this works would be helpful also. Thanks!See More

### Organizing Surfaces in a List by Z Z value

Not understanding what I'm doing wrong. I've got surfaces sorted into branches by their face (North, East, South, West)Within each face branch I would like to group the surfaces by level which I've tried to do by creating a unique set of z values of the centroids, and then using that member index map, pick them into sub branches. The result is breaking them into sub branches within the faces branch but I'm losing the organization of the faces. For instance, {0;0} is West Face level 1 and {0;1}…See More

### User Object Version Naming

I was going to just add the version number as changes are made in the description. Does anyone have any tricks to keeping track of the most up to date user objects? We use the same definition as a template often for projects. Sometimes we have to go back to these projects and the user objects have been updated and saved as new to our folder. I'm guessing my only option is a code in the naming of these but I saw some VB/Honeybee components that have little tags at the bottom of the component…See More

"Yeah I was thinking the same before I tried it, but the next step in the loop wont start till everything is done, no matter how long it takes. Sometimes the steps take close to a minute for what I am doing, but it works just fine even for several…"

"Interesting. I was a little nervous that the time it would take to export to excel before running the next gate would interfere with the next export going through however this seems to solve it. I'm going to give this a try. Thanks!"

"Here is an example of doing it in anemone (I think Hoopsnake is very similar). It just outputs the current step of the repeat (I like to refer to it as the current frame, like in an animation). This can be used to drive whatever you want and using…"

"If you want something to happen "one after the other", you wont be able to avoid something like hoopsnake or anemone. Saying that once you know how to set it up, its very quick to do. With anemone its like 3 or 4 components to do that and…"

### Sequential stream filter

Did some searching but didn't know the right wording. I have a stream filter to allow through the proper data to be exported to excel. Theres a few more stream filters after this to allow the proper heading, fonts, fills, sheeet and locations at well but theyre all linked to the original stream filter. Right now it works fine for exporting 1 sheet at a time however I'd like to set up an option to export all sheets at once. Without getting too crazy with entwining all these headings, formats,…See More
