"David,   Speedy reply... At the risk of opening a wormcan on this, I was actually being quite narrow in my scope in terms of picking. In all honesty I use Rhino principally for GH.  So I was meaning that the GH model 'preview…"

"Hi Ralph, all good suggestions, one question about picking. Do you want GH preview to act just like regular objects? I.e. picking always works, you can select GH preview geometry while inside a Rhino command, components get deselected when the user…"

Analytics for Grasshopper

Hello all,Never seen a request of this sort but I might have missed it.  In any case, I've got this crazy idea to implement analytics from inside Grasshopper.  Found a service that has a Python library:https://segment.com/docs/libraries/python/Any thoughts on whether it will be possible to implement?  Anything to watch out for? Thanks,MarcSee More

"Thanks i will try it out. I would still like to see it implemented in Grasshopper since it is a key function for parametric design."

"Good evening everyone, My question today is how can i make a repeatable action with every input being the output of the previous action. Fex offseting a curve 10 times, but every new offset uses the previous curve. I am not sure if that logic is…"

"Good Morning! Awesome! Any rough estimation of when that would come out will be nice too, not rushing tho. Best,"

"The latter is my plan. It would be good if any source of data (not just sliders) could be designated as "global", and then accessed by name. This should work for input parameters, inside expressions and probably even inside scripts."

"Hi Marc and David, Does it perhaps make more sense to be able to let parameter objects to inherit names from the source its coming from, a little bit like how the slider can inherit names from the component input port it's going into but in…"

"Could Autocad's paste logic be used instead? When Ctrl+V is pressed the clipboard objects appear floating around the mouse pointer and a click is needed to place them on the canvas. Then again this might be contradictory to Grasshopper's…"
