"Use "project to Brep" component to project those lines onto your surface. Then cut the surface with those lines - and you will get sub-surfaces. Count the number of vertices of those subsurfaces.Like this: "

"Thank you Djordje for your answer. The problem is that i don't have a mesh - I just have a nurbs surface with multiple lines on it. So I dont know if it is possible to create a mesh based on these lines / Surface - that has the same topology? "
