Ladybug

Ladybug is a free and open source environmental plugin for Grasshopper to help designers create an environmentally-conscious architectural design. Ladybug allows you to: import and analyze standard weather data in Grasshopper; draw diagrams like Sun-path, wind-rose, radiation-rose, etc; customize the diagrams in several ways; run radiation analysis, shadow studies, and view analysis for your design inside Grasshopper!Ladybug only works on Rhino 5.0. Unfortunately, there is no version for Rhino…See More

"I prefer not to manage too many plugins if I can avoid it.  If you want to achieve the same thing native to grasshopper, just use member index and then shift paths to get what you want. "

"the "Match Paths" component from the Tree Frog Utilities available here: http://www.food4rhino.com/project/hdtutils will allow you to assign the original tree structure to the M output of the create set component. "

Geco not running

Hi I just upgraded my Rhino 5 to Version 5.0  (5.1.20913.1302, 09/13/2012). Since then  Ecotect is not running. Please see attached image. I've copied all Grasshopper plug-ins into AppData\Roaming\Grasshopper\Libraries folder. Other plugins work except Geco. I've tried drag in GrasshopperPlugin.rhp as well. Thanks!…See More

"Thanks Chris,   I wanted to use "perpendicular frames" but it needs t value. If I have only "points" for the curve. How can I get t values for each of points. "

Chris Hanley replied to Eugene Lee's discussion Tangent vectors at division points
"I'm away from my gh computer but I think the "perpendicular frames" component will orient all the frames in the same direction.  Curves->division ....it's definately on the curves panel."

Hannes Löschke replied to Eugene Lee's discussion Tangent vectors at division points
"oh... ok, missed that. You are creating planes from origin and z-axis. I don't see any obvious way to orient the planes so that they are aligned regardles of the direction of the z-axis. How should the x-axes point if your curve goes up?"
