Nesting component not working on curves for waffle grid fabrication of form

Hello I am trying to fabricate a weird hyperbola solid using waffle and grid process. I have oriented the strips on xy plain for fabrication but they are all placed at point so i used nesting command from generation plugin to obtain its closed surface with labels on a sheet for fabrication.

but this command shows error and say all curves must be in xy plane when they are already placed in xy plane. please help me solving this problem.
