Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Iteratively slicing a cube with a collection of planes. Testing the new 3D Voronoi cell slicing algorithm. Still needs optimizing though, slicing with 500 planes still takes 3 seconds.

Thanks, for the infos.

I'm looking forward to it.

"Did you created a new sdk entry for this" The function will be available in the Grasshopper.Kernel.Geometry namespace.

"did you use a library or did you build it with the already known commands" I wrote it from scratch.

"Do you already know in which Grasshopper version in will be released?" No, hopefully within a few days, there are still bugs in the Voronoi code and I'd like to try to speed it up some more.

Ok.

Did you created a new sdk entry for this, did you use a library or did you build it with the already known commands?

(sorry, if I'm not using the correct programmer terms)

Do you already know in which Grasshopper version in will be released? ;)

Martin, this is directly in Grasshopper. Unless someone tells me to move this code into Rhino you won't be able to find it there.

Niceeeeeeeeeee!

Cool!

So you plan finaly to create a 3D Voronoi algorithm for Rhino and maybe later also a standard Grasshopper Component?
