Seiffert´s spherical spiral - Integral methods

Hi,

I am trying to set up a seiffert´s spherical spiral

using the parametric equations.

I managed to do other sorts of spirals, but here I cant get a grip on the integral.

Calculus has been a while. Any practical hints how to proceed besides reading  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Integral ?

iam not good at math, but probably to make it easier is to find equations for spherical coordinates :)

It is said that this curve can be obtained by moving on a spherical surface with constant speed from top to bottom etc... this can be obtain by projecting & some intersecting, but probably that wont satisfy you.

Indeed I was hoping to find a way to use the Intgral, but I guess now I will try to find a way using coodinates. Thanks for the links, I think this already helps.

Will let you now, If I figure out a more satisfying solution than projection.
