clustering neighbor elements

Hi,

I created a complicated stack of boxes.

So now I want to group sets of 3, 4, 5, ... boxes.
The sets have to consist of neighboring boxes.

How do I make these groups, clusters or sets?
I can cul different sets, but they are spread all over the place.

I would be happy 4 Your help.
