repetition in different density

im working on a competition these days and the dead line is coming up soon. we are designing a building that is made out of layers of concrete slabs.
i need you help to find a grasshopper script to do this:

i need a script that would take a shape and reproduce it on another surface in a random way but with in a certain spectrum of distance. for example divide an 80 meter long surface into smaller segments of sizes between 50~200 centimeter and place every point of division a pillar between them.

i hope you guys can understand what the f#*k im talking about
