algorithmic modeling for Rhino

This may be a silly question, and I'm sure there's a simple answer, but I just can't figure out how Subtraction handles multiple numbers.

If I enter two numbers in A, and 3 into B, I don't get 1, 2, 3, or 6 results from the output, I get 4!

Why?  How does this work?

Nope, you get three results:

These results are 10-1 (the first item in A subtracted by the first item in B), 100-2 (the second item in A subtracted by the second item in B), and 100-3 (the second item in A because there is no third, subtracted by the third item in B).

I'd love to see what you're getting but you did not include a file or a screenshot.

Oh, embarrassing....I know what happened now!
