algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi All!

I have a really simple 4 bar linkage that is constrained to flex only in the xy plane by grabbing and pulling on the joints. However, I can't figure out how to prevent the arms from intersecting or penetrating one another (see bottom image). I hope this is a simple fix - does anyone know!?
