Hi Natalia,

from this error message it seems as though Rhino is trying to load GrasshopperPlugin.rhp as though it was an old-SDK style plugin. What exact versions of Rhino and Grasshopper are involved here?

Servus David,

I must explain first that Grasshopper (latest version) works perfectly if I call it from Rhino 5, but I am trying to load the plugin within another plugin for Rhino called Matrix (from Gemvision) to see if I could work with both at the same time. I was hoping there could be a trick that would save me from having  to work in one and then save and open the other one repeatedly.

Thanks and regards,

Natalia

You cannot load the latest Grasshopper on Rhino4, the last version of Grasshopper that still worked on Rhino4 is available from the download page: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/page/download-1

If this problem is happening in Rhino5, we would very much like to get to the bottom of this.

Yes, it happens with rhino 5 while working with Gemvision Matrix. Maybe it's "their" problem?

Wow. It could be because of something they are doing, but they shouldn't be allowed to do something like this in the first place, so that's our fault. I'll see what the Rhino core boffins in Seattle have to say about this.
