Need help: Vertical louvers with attractor points

Hello,

I need some help with my project. I have made vertical louvers with attractor points. When the louver gets closer to the attractor points, they become thinner (see first image and grasshopper file), but now I want to do 2 things:

1: The attractor points are now 'circles', but i want them to be more elliptic (see second picture). I thought using the image sampler would work, but i can't figure out how.

2: Is it possible to remove the parts from the louvers which are for example less than 20 cm? I think using 'distance' and 'smaller than' will do the trick, but still I can't figure out how..

I appreciate your help, thanks in advance.

I found two examples where they use the image sampler in about the same way i want it..
