algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey guys,

I have a 3d grid of points as Shown in attached Jpeg and I want to connect the points in a 3d rectangular grid (like a simple rubens cube structure)

Any ideas?

yep thats perfect Marios.

Thanks

Thanks!

I've tried to deform this 3d grid with an attractor of Nudibrunch plugin, after that i can have the list of points but i cant interpolate them as the initial structure...everythings seems correct exept the vertical lines... do u have any idea??

thanks!

Hi,

could you attach the file please, it would save me some time from recreating it.

Best,

Nevermind,

make sure you understand how this def works.

sorry... you are faster than the connection of my university!!! now i gonna try to understand your solution!!!

THANKS A LOT!!!

nice tool!

is there a way to work without path mapper?

thanks

It could.. With more components out of the tree tab, as you have to re-sort your pointlist into x-rows, y-rows and z-columns.

But I like the straightforwardness of the pathmapper.

and, is there a possibility to apply the force for the attractors differently? that would be a good idea!

i hate path mapper, cause i never understood it. ;-)

then (perhaps) you can get more control over the the curves?

R,

I am not sure whether I understand or not your definition of differently. could you elaborate on that?

each one of the attractors could have its own unique range, distribution method, repulsion/attraction. any more ideas on things to implement?
