how to panel a component onto a parametric model and make it responsive to a parameter?

Hi

I have made a parametric component where I utilised using vectors

I then have made a simple surface with uv values

I am trying to panel the component over this surface so it is responsive to the parameters

I have been trying for ages to do this but can't work it out and havign hard finidign suitable examples to learn from.

Thanks

Sarah

Thank you very much! So just to explain what you did,you assined the geometry, then drew a bb and then does the morph put the objetc onto the surface? and the s box makes it 3 dimensional?

Thanks again

Hi Sarah,

You use the "Surface box" component to make boxes onto your surface, in accordance to the division you desire.
Then you use those Surface boxes as a target geometry where Bounding box geometry (in this case your origami shape) will be imported and morphed in accordance to the shape of each of those Surface boxes.

Thank you so much :) makes me understand it so much better!
