Mesh parts break up from each other with Kangaroo

Hi, I couldn't figure out a way to merge the seams in my model for some reason. The tabs are joined with the major mesh object, however, when I ran Kangaroo, it looked like it was not. Does anyone have an idea on this? Thanks.
