Rectangular structure please

Hi to all!

I've been trying some days to make a rectangular structure from a box...(and regulate the amount of "internal boxes" with a slider) I think it's relatively easy for someone who knows, not me ¡.. a beginner. I have not even found the answer in tutorials, please if anyone can help I would be very grateful!

Something like this picture but with the "box" which lacks haha.
