Missing bake button

It and the others have been moved to the Radial Menu. Middle Mouse Button Click. When over a component it will only select that component. When over blank canvas then all components selected will have the command applied to. Alternatively if you have not got a middle mouse button the the spacebar has the same results. Even further down the alternatives if you are in blank canvas territory you can use the right mouse click to get a Legacy menu.

Is it possible to personalize the canvas toolbar? To put buttons from the radial menu or from other menu items.

One day, it will be. But not right now.
