algorithmic modeling for Rhino

hello everyone, 

this might be a silly question but i'm kinda stuck.

i've got a 3d curve, and on along it i've got perp frames.

the thing is, now i would like to re align the planes (of the perp frames) to the world y vector. 

meaning, the x vector of the perp frame is fine, and i would like create a new plane at the same origin point, but with a different y vector - the world one.

 

thoughts?

the red is one of the the perp frames i want to change and the green plane is one i've created manually with 3pt plane, however i'm trying to find a solution that doesn't involve me creating 3pt plane on each division point.

Hey,

 

how about take the F output of the PFrames and connect it to the pComp Component. Then create a new plane by taking the O and X output to the pl component. Leave the Y aas it is. Is that what you are lookng for?

i tried what you suggested and no luck (unless i'm doing it wrong obviously..)

have a look at image - frames 2- with the frames i've gotten on my curve, since it's a 3d curve, both the y axis and the x axis are rotated from the world ones.

and i want the frame to be "projected on the world axis but rotated perpendicularly to the curve..

does that make sense?

 

frame 3 image is after doing what you suggested..

 

basically, unless i'm mistaken, i think all i is the frames to keep their z axis and to give them x and y axis that reside on the world plane, does that make sense?

ok!? maybe it is very easy the anwser (i am still not sure what you are looking for :-) )

just put a xy plane at every point

 

or you mean the secound verson in the file!
