My phone kept showing "no service" in spots where I knew there should be coverage. After speaking to yahoo mobile customer support, I found out that resetting the network settings on my phone and switching it off and on helped reconnect. It’s worth a shot before contacting support if you’re having the same issue.

• Lately I’ve been having some kind of network issues in general. Sometimes I can’t even send basic sms messages or make calls at all. To be honest, I’m a bit worried about what this could be related to.

Could the problem be with the number itself? Or the sim card? Or even the phone, which is totally possible, and that actually happened to me. I thought the issue was with the connection, but just in case I decided to check using a virtual number. In the end, I couldn’t receive sms online, even though I had used virtual numbers from smsfast before and everything worked. So instead of a new sim, I had to buy a new phone.
