Changing surface/BRep colour according to numerical value.

Hi all,

I am new to grasshopper.

I am currently trying to change the colour of a surface / box according to a slider value as the size of the surface/box is changing,  but I am struggling with it.

I thought it would be quite simple, but I tried using the gradient tool i don't know wht to fed into the L0, L1 with the slider.

I would like to see if anyone can kindly help me out on this, thank you very much!

i hv tried the following method

The numerical slider is from 0-5

but when I increase the value, the changing colour only occur from 0-1, and stay as red after 1

is there a way to control the changing more evenly??

Thank you.

set L1 to your upper limit. In this case 5

Hi Winy,

that's what the L0 and L1 are for. By default, the gradient operates only between zero and one. If you input a value for t higher than or equal to 1.0, you get the color at the rightmost edge of the gradient. If you want to change the gradient domain, you'll need to supply custom values for L0 and L1.
