Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

New to GH so could do with some help setting up an attractor point on the attached grid i have made. I want the attractor to control the angle of the panels within the grid so I can have some open and closed....also want to try this with an attractor curve but am guessing it is the same definition just with a curve rather than a point.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks for the speedy reply,

Much appreciated. Did you also solve how to get the fold to work for the second half of the grid? I couldnt get the fold to work properly but it looked like a data tree problem? What did you do?

Ok, Just looked through your definition and you made the shapes from extrusions rather than from moving points like I was doing originally. Looks good though.

Don't suppose you know how I would transfer this geometry onto a surface like a cylinder or a freeform shape?

Something like this? You'll need "Lunchbox" plug-in.

Exactly,

Thanks, will look in to 'Lunchbox'

Forgot to internalise the curve attractor and surface geometries.
