Is there a way to know the equation that forms the Graph inside the graph mapper component ??

View the attached file please

Thanks in advance

Not all graphs are equations, some are just curves that get intersected by vertical lines.

But even in those cases where the graph actually is an equation, Grasshopper never tells you what that equation is.

Thanks for your information !

In Parametric Architecture with Grasshopper page 97 its stated that the equation :

y = (1/10) * x2 + X + 1 with 1 < x < 9

Gives results that increase and then decrease to give the same result using a graph mapper with a parabola as in the attached file

Unfortunately it never gave the same result ..... is it a mistake in the book ?!
