Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everybody,

first of all, i'd like to apologize for any mistakes i would do, i'm a french speaking native.

So, here is the point:
i need to get shapes reorganized, they've actually gone wild due to operations i made on data trees.

what i've already done is using the common method to sort points by x and y coordinates, and allocate it with the Tree8 plugin. Each of those points is a vertice of the 15 shapes

now, i'm trying to find a way to get some kind of mask to set a new path for each of them.
You can see on the picture above that the points are correctly sorted in the right list.

Is there a way to extract (as a mask) the link between the values of the items, their old path and their new one ?

i feel like there is something i can do with the replace path component but i can't figure out how to use it.

thank you for your help

B.

Rather easy (If I've got(?) it right(?)) but the thing is that something is missing: your definition, that is.

PS: NEVER ask for some help by providing just an image.

best

Hey, thank you for the answer. What do you mean by "definition" ?

Er ... hmm ... the GH file,  that is.

PLUS any data used either internalized or - better - the related Rhino file : for instance imagine a definition that does this and that and the data used are missing: not the best practice for getting any help.
