Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

moin guys,

i've got a definition which is working fine but copied to a friends maschine it's not working proper anymore. if we change some parameter to a lower value, it works fine --> raise the value it will show nothing at all. mmh ... did one of you guys experience something similar? is there a maximum computing power grasshopper is working with? ... like in photoshop?

Hi beutelschlurf,

there are limits on memory consumption imposed by Windows on every running process. On windows 32-bit this is either 2GB or 3GB, on windows 64-bit this limit is much, much higher. When this limit is reached, Windows will shut down the Rhino process.

If Grasshopper stops working without crashing, something else must be going on. Are there any error messages in the Rhino command history?
