Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I am using the latest Rhino servive release and the current download of Grasshopper.

When I try to create a surface from 2 closed planar curves from which one lies within the other

(like for instance 2 concentric circles) the Grasshopper component does not behave like the Rhino command which creates a surface with a hole. I get always 2 separate surfaces. What should I do? Can somebody please help me?

It depends on your data structures.

If you have multiple curves that are on the same branches then you will get a single planar surface with holes in. But if you have different branches then you end up with different surfaces. This is illustrated below with the grafted input to have different branches for each curve.
