Thanks for your comments, Phillip and a-ngine. I've been working on some design tools that go back and forth between Processing and Gh. Processing is pretty handy for object oriented programming and recursive function definitions, but not as efficient as Gh when it comes to manipulating and analyzing geometry. So I use Gh to set up the seed geometry of vertical cores; Processing to run the RFD growth; and Gh to analyze the resulting form for solar and wind occlusion. I wanted to emphasize that circulation and envelope are distinct. Hence, the alternate interpretations of building mass as a tight fit of stacked volumes and as a loose fit of convex hulls. Still working on a way to evaluate the fitness of each result so I can make use of Galapagos.

mmmmh super sweet, can you explain some of your thoughts and roughly the process behind?
