@Arman KhalilBeigi,

thanks a lot to answer,

meanwhile I made some patterns and now the issue is about make an offset on both side of the venation pattern and creating into it a surface. But it is happening that the surface overlap on itself due to the offset that it is also overlapping, as you can see in the image

After this the otherissue it is how obtain just one surface intersecting, or joining the different surfaces. I tried with the component union solid and then merge faces but it is creating one surface with the same characteristic(surfaces overlapped)

@Ale_G

here is the logic for Venation Component:
We Start by the SPi point (say its the Root point), we are standing there looking around to eat other Points (that you have already provided them in 'p', lets call them Foods), when we try to find foods to eat [by eating, of course, I mean connecting to them!], we are only interested in foods that are closer than the 'C' (cut off distance) to us, if there are foods available, good, we eat them!, if there is no food in my sight, nothing happens !. if there are several foods in my sight, I'm only allowed to eat as much as 'D' parameter. this process iterates 'Itr' Number of times.
usually, if nothing happens is because there is no point within the 'D' Range.
BTW here is your fixed definition

Hi to everyone. I d like to discover how does it work the venation pattern. I will explain briefly my task: I have a wall on which one need to have a venation pattern. I started creating an amount of random point on the surface, then drawing a line as an attractor to delete some of the points near to that. In this way there are different groups of points, on each of them it should be a different venation pattern. I struggled trying to understand how does it work but when I connect the venation component nothing happen.

Please, any kind of help it will be very appreciate.

Thanks for your time, there is attached the rhino file and the gh file in case you want try by yourself. I am arrived untill the creation of different point groups, after that i guess i should use the venation pattern but nothing happen.

Show my the way :)

kind regards

Hi Arman, Is this tutorial is the component different to the newest version? Is there still a way to offset curves with a integer value?
